This Veterans Day, Choolip celebrates the remarkable bond between veterans and their pets. Inspired by our co-founder, Eric—a veteran who found strength and companionship through his own pets—we’re hosting a special event to show our gratitude.
Eric shares, “In the military, we leaned on each other through everything. After my service, my dogs became my source of comfort and connection.”
Recognizing the comfort and loyalty pets provide, we’re offering a free pouch of Squeeze Vita Sticks to veterans who share a photo in uniform with their pets. This small gift is our way of saying thank you for their service and for the powerful, healing bonds they share with their furry companions.
Interview with Choolip Co-Founder Eric: “Service and the Pets Who Comfort”
Q: What stands out most from your time in the military?
A: "The bond with my fellow soldiers. We went through so many hardships together, and supporting each other was essential. That connection taught me how important loyalty is—not just in the military but in all parts of life."
Q: How did your pets help you transition back to civilian life?
A: "When I left the service, I didn’t know what direction to take. My dogs provided a sense of comfort and routine that grounded me. They were my companions through that change, reminding me that unconditional love and support are always there."
Q: How did your experience as a veteran inspire Choolip’s Veterans Day event?
A: "Knowing how much my own pets supported me, I wanted to give something back to veterans and their pets. This event is about recognizing veterans’ journeys and showing appreciation for the comfort their pets bring them."
Q: Any advice for veterans adjusting to life after service?
A: "Consider bringing a pet into your life. Pets can provide incredible emotional support and are there for you unconditionally. They were such a big help in my transition."
To all veterans and their pets, the Choolip community honors and values you.
Join us in this heartfelt tribute and know you’re appreciated every day.
Wishing a meaningful Veterans Day to you and your families.
